ORDER: The Court held an initial conference in plaintiff's personal injury action on September 10, 2024. Patrick McGrath appeared on behalf of plaintiff; Louis Thomas Cornacchia, III appeared on behalf of defendants. The Court ordered Patrick McGrath to file a Notice of Appearance by the end of the day. The Court set the following deadlines: the parties shall join other parties or amend the pleadings by October 10, 2024. Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(3)(A). The parties shall complete all fact discovery by January 15, 2025. The parties shall file a joint status letter by November 1, 2024. As discussed on the record, this case was assigned to me as part of the Direct Assignment Pilot Program pursuant to Administrative Order 2023-23. ORDER: Defendants answered the complaint in plaintiff's diversity motor vehicle case. ECF No.10 . The Court shall hold the initial conference in this matter on September 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 11A South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. The parties shall exchange their Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures and file their Rule 26(f) Meeting Report with the Court by September 3, 2024. As the complaint alleges personal injuries, plaintiff shall execute releases for all medical and/or mental health treatment related to this accident to defendants' counsel by September 3, 2024. Parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court. Any request for an adjournment must be electronically filed with the Court at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled conference. This case was assigned to me as the presiding judge as part of the Pilot Program under Administrative Order 2023-23. The parties may consent to the jurisdiction of a Magistrate Judge by filing the consent form available at ECF No. 2 .
