NOTICE OF DEFICIENCY regarding1 Complaint,2 Notice of Appearance.Pursuant to our Courts Local Rules and the Case Management Orders of the Camp Lejeune Water Litigation Docket 7:23-cv-897, it is required that local counsel opens and files the opening pleadings of the case (Short-Form Complaints, Notice of Appearance for local counsel, and Motions for Pro Hac Vice.) Special Appearance Counsel that are admitted through Motions for Pro Hac Vice are not allowed to enter their Notices of Special Appearance in the case, or file any pleadings in the case, until after the Motion for Pro Hac Vice has been granted. Each lawyer who is not a member of the bar of this court must complete a pro hac vice motion. Local counsel shall file each motion electronically in each case in which the out-of-district lawyer seeks to appear. The motion must be properly filled out and accompanied by a $100 fee per lawyer per case. Local counsel is directed to re-file all pleadings in adherence to our rules.
