Order of Dismissal or Administrative Closure
Wed 04/02 12:07 PM
ORDER OF DISMISSAL: Cassandra Balderas has filed a petition under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 seeking time credits. However, she is incarcerated at FCI Hazelton, which lies within the Northern District of West Virginia. A petition under § 2241 must be filed in the district where the prisoner is incarcerated. Because Petitioner's custodian is not located in this district, the Court lacks jurisdiction over this action and it must be DISMISSED. Lee v. Wetzel, 244 F.3d 370, 37374 (5th Cir. 2001). (Ordered by Judge Reed C. O'Connor on 4/2/2025) (wxc)
